An Underwater Adventure and Beach Resort in One

The first floor of Lido Cafe is designed to resemble an underwater adventure. It features a mesmerizing light organ as a stage backdrop, a DMX LED backlit motled glass bar, and H2O effect lights that create an immersive underwater experience. The entire space is illuminated with a soft, ethereal glow, transporting guests to a magical underwater world.

On the second floor, Lido Cafe transforms into a beach or pool "resort" on land. The forest mural wall is adorned with thin vertical strips of mirror, creating a sense of movement and reflecting laser lights. This design element suggests sunlight shining through the trees, giving the space a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. The second floor also showcases musical instruments, bathing suits, and trophies of famous people, adding to the overall ambiance of the beach resort.

What sets Lido Cafe apart from other live music bars is its attention to detail and unique design elements. The DMX LED glass bar, starlight ceiling, and fish-shaped bamboo and silk lanterns add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space. The use of thin strips of mirror embedded in the wall exaggerates the sense of movement and creates an illusion of a much larger forest beyond.

The design of Lido Cafe was realized using a combination of innovative technologies and local craftsmanship. The use of DMX LED lights and controls, along with the incorporation of local materials, showcases the designer's commitment to creating a space that is both visually stunning and culturally relevant.

Despite the challenges faced during the design process, such as locating local materials and creating a space that appeals to the local culture, Mario J Lotti successfully created a unique and playful environment that stands out in Saigon's bar scene. The layout of the bar on both floors ensures that every client has a full view of the stage, making for an unforgettable music experience.
